Mother Nature is teasing us today. It must be at least in the 70s and it is just barely into April! I love days like this but this early in the year I try not to let myself get too convinced that the weather is here to stay. I find myself checking my forecast online more often when it gets pretty too early - just to see how quickly it will go away. My hopes are still up even after three or four quick peeks at the forecast because so far it looks like we won't have a lower high temp than around 57 for the next 5 days.

Health Update 4/2/10
My husband ended up being released from the hospital last Tuesday. It was a surprise as we were expecting it to be on Wednesday. He is recovering really well although for the first two weeks we have some important care instructions to follow.

Our Health Crisis - Update 3/29/2010
My husband went in for surgery on 3/26/2010. They ended up having to do an emergency quadruple-bypass. He is only 45 years old and not overweight (6'4" and under 200 lbs). The primary culprits for the condition of his heart are believed to be a combination of smoking (he has been a non-smoker for a while now - since his first heart issue back in 2004) and a diet that included Trans Fats (from back in the day when we didn't know how dangerous they were).
