A recent episode with the internet that left me "cut off" for over 48 hours has left a bad taste in my mouth for the web and an appreciation of time away from the computer. Our family is currently dealing with some nasty stuff (some that we seem to have to deal with all too often) anyway so the combination of events has made me decide to take some time away from my desk.
I'm going to at least take a few weeks off and perhaps even as long as a year. I'll be back eventually but I've really got some important things to take care of that I'm afraid I've been neglecting recently.
If anyone needs me and I appear to not be around, just send an email. I'll try to at least check that daily but for the time being I don't think I'll be accepting any new projects or clients and I'm not going to be that active online. I'll probably occasionally update my blog and maybe even take a few photos but in reality I hope to get away from almost all of it for a while and deal with some much more important events.
